French and Indian War

 Luckly I dont live where the French and the crasy Indians are fighting.   I heard about braddock.   Why would he get bright red uniforms?   Thats like asking to be killed and they shouldn't march close together so they arent an easy target.   My fathers brother died in the Battle of Quebec.   It would of been a disaster without that ungaurded trail.   The guy who spotted the trail aught to be thanked.   He aved a lot of lives.   Thanks to the surprise they gave the French they one.   I really like the treaty of Paris because we got Canada and a lot of land east of the Mississippi River.   Britian is getting a lot of tland hear in the colonies.   We should hang Pontiac.   Thanks to him people in Virginia and Pennsylvania were killed.   Instead we got a peace treaty.   The Proclamation of 1763 is a good idea but it is not fare for people who baught land their, or shares in land companies.  

Conflicts Arise

I think the war with us and the French is stupid.   The french should just give up.   Though we should give up to cause we are wasting money.   Though fighting over the Ohio River Vally is stupid.   This rivalry is scaring my family.   Mainly the French.   George Washington is kind of stupid but brave too.   He went up against the British took courage.   If he had a bigger militia he might of beaten them.   I agree that we need to do something.   I don't know what would be best for us though.   Though the Albany Plan of Union is a good idea.   I  think we are going to be good friends with the Iroquois.   I think they will help us in battle against the french which sounds good.

My Culture

I wish I could go to the new church with my mom and dad but I have to go to school.   Though were I keep being taught how to read and write know I can read the bible.   Then I can wright about what I read.   I asked mom and dad to get me a new bible for me from the new church.   Cause my other one is kindof hard to read.   I heard that Johnathon Edwards was comming to preach at the new church, from fy mom.   Thanks to the Enlightenment I want to have a lot of knowledge and I want to have more science classes.   I want to be the one who improves society.   It sucks though that the King appoints the governor, I cant vote anyways, but it should be up to the people to decide who governs you.   They should let teenagers vote too though, and even married women atleast thats what mom says.   I heard from mom that the Glorious Revolution is happening  but I really dont get it.   It seems weird though that elected representatives have more power over the monarch.   The Navagation Acts dont really effect me, but it does effect my father.   He really doesnt like that he can only trade our crops with england.   we could get more money from other countries.   we could also save money if we were able to use other ships.   I hapoe we dont have to sell any of our property. :(

All About Me

Hello, my name is Steve Jr. Rottinghouse and I'm 13.   My parents are Steve and Amelia Rottinghouse.   My dad is 45 and my mom is 31.   We live in Georgia and we are white.   We make a living off are plantation and are 10 slaves.   On a normall day I have breakfast with my family but dont let the slaves touch our food.   Then I go to schools on the weekdays.   One of our slaves stay in the house all the time, her name is Quashira.   If she gives me the wrong answers  I whip her.   We have alot of land like 200 acres.   Haqua Makahla is a terrible slave.   He runs away like all the time so I chained him up and whip him.   I learned that from my mom.      We whip anyone if we are disatisfied with there work.
